Playing around town

Monday Zach, Charlie and I took advantage of a great nearby resource - the St. Paul Saints. The Saints are a minor league baseball team, and when they are traveling for road games, they open up the stadium for kids to have some fun. Besides enjoying the bouncy house and big playset, Zach also got to play some baseball and soccer too!

^ Soccer on a baseball field? Sure, why not. But it works better if you keep your eyes open when you swing Zach!

^Zach loved this... the ball was floating on air blowing up from the cone. We had to get in line over and over again.

Tuesday we headed west to an Edina park to meet up with friends we don't get to see as much as we'd like - the moms and kids that we met three years ago in our infant ECFE class. As the kids have gotten older and into more activities, and siblings have come along, it has gotten tougher for all of us to get together. But we had the majority on Tuesday, and it was fun to see the kids actually play together a bit. I didn't get many pictures, and the ones I did get aren't very good - it's hard to take pictures of busy 3 year olds!

^Knowing I'm usually behind the camera, my friend Laura insisted on turning the camera on me... so here we have the rare photo of me and Charlie. Thanks Laura!
