Christmas Eve (#6)

Zach has been counting our Christmases, which he defines as any gift-opening opportunity. Since we started celebrating at Thanksgiving with my family, according to Zach, we've had a LOT of Christmases!

Christmas Eve at Scott's parents would be #6. After our late arrival, we slept in a little the next morning and then Zach spent the day counting the minutes until his cousins arrived. Then we settled in for the first of many yummy meals, split in the traditional way - kids table and adults table!


Then finally it was time to open the family gifts. Zach, Bryn (9), and Maryn (7), served as Santa, handing out the presents, and we tortured them by making them take turns to open gifts.






The big kids put on their matching pjs, ready for bed so Santa could arrive...
