I don't know why, but that picture makes me think of Star Wars. Odd, I know, since it has Disney characters on it.
The sweatshirt is courtesy of "Grandma Cookie", as she is now known. Before Scott's parents got here, Zach was pretty confused - he seemed to think he had three grandmas, and they were all called Grandma K (the third grandma is my friend Cindy's mom, who occasionally baby-sits for us, and treats Zach as if he was her grandson). Alan jokingly suggested Grandma Cookie, since Cookie was Teri's nickname growing up - and Zach seized on that immediately. So the confusion has been eliminated!
We are definitely going to have a sad little boy when Scott's parents leave. He woke up in the middle of his nap today asking "grandma go?", which is his version of "where did grandma go?" The pictures below show how raptly Zach was listening as Grandma was telling him very entertaining and different versions of the 3 Little Pigs and the 3 Bears...
I forgot to mention some of our weekend excitement in my last post; He' we thought we were going to have our first trip to urgent care for a sprain/break of some sort. Zach fell sort of funny while chasing his football on Saturday, and cried quite a bit afterwards, which is very unusual for him (he's a tough kid.) He kept pointing to his right foot and saying "this one hurts." That night he could put his weight on it, but he didn't want to walk. And when he did walk - what a pathetic sight. I couldn't stand it! Since urgent care was already closed, we decided to see how it was Sunday and make a decision then. Fortunately, it just kept getting better and better, and by Sunday afternoon he was running and jumping on it. Whew. I suspect we'll be in the emergency room and/or urgent care many times for all sorts of bumps and bruises as this boy gets older, but I'm glad we were able to postpone our first trip!
